High Excursion Technology

Hi-Xcursion is the key technology of the incredible sound of Hi-X headphones.

All Austrian Audio Hi-X headphones are equipped with a 44mm driver and a ring magnet system.This design improves air flow and provides the strongest class magnetic field.Ring magnets combine with copper clad aluminum voice coils to reduce the weight of the diaphragm and the voice coil attached to it, and provide more responsive impulse response characteristics for increased diaphragm movement and orientation.

After various measurements and listening tests at Austrian Audio, we found that 44mm is the perfect size for this design.This not only provides the performance that professionals desire but also does not generate "wobble" diaphragm while vibrating a lot of air.In addition, the diaphragm design is ultra-rigid and suppressing unnecessary resonance to suppress vibration across the driver.
