Description

Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, was founded to develop as a "town of commerce and industrial with the 14th year of Keisama, the lord of Kaga clan opened the town of Takaoka.
2 years later from the opening of town in Keichicho 16, Toshicho Maeda invited seven casters (straw) in the current Kanaya Town.
This is the beginning of the long history of Takaoka copper ware.
Nosaku Co., Ltd. started manufacturing Buddhist equipment using 400 years of casting technology in Takaoka.
Cast is a method of manufacturing where melted metal is poured into the mold and then cooled down to the desired shape.
A mold that pours the metal into the mold, and a metal product that was removed from the mold, is cast (imono).
Nogaku continues to expand the possibilities of casting by using various casting methods and processing techniques to maximize the material characteristics.
At its beginning, we mainly focus on Buddhist fixtures, tea tools, and vases, and in recent years, we have managed tableware, interior accessories, lighting fixtures and construction hardware.
The dignified appearance of wind chimes and tableware is also due to advanced casting technology and careful finishing. However, in recent years, we have developed silicone casting methods in addition to the predecessor of the casting method. The flexible human placement and local artisan networks meet various requests and customer expectations. Makes more efficient castings: Nosaku continues to explore designs that take advantage of technology and materials, and we aim to create products that are loved by people in the land of Takaoka and proud of the region.
