Description

Setoyaki is a generic name for ceramic produced in Seto City of Aichi Prefecture, and near it. A representative Japanese noble with a thousand years of history and tradition.
It is also known as the source of Rokuko kilns along with Tokonama, Shigaraku, Echizen, Tamba, and Bizen.
Obibe is a green glaze that was born from the guidance of Furuta Loji, a disciple of Senriyu in Momoyama period.
The texture of each piece is different depending on the conditions of the kiln and flame.
