The Boveda 8 gram pack is for travel moisture and smaller enclosed spaces like less humid bags.
In enclosed containers, Boveda monitors surrounding RH (relative humidity) and adds or removes moisture to maintain a specific RH designed for the pack.It is impossible to use "too much" as boveda is impossible to humidify beyond the RH of the pack.
The life of any Boveda depends on how hard it couldnt work to give up moisture.If your Boveda has very little soft spots, its time to replace.

Because each container is different, we make this 65% RH with 8 gram packets for travel, small spaces and small collections. Understand that the less leaky space and less airtight, the Boveda needs to work to regulate the humidity.Cigars may need to be seasoned before properly stored.
For larger humidors and collections, youll want a 60 gram or 320 gram pack of Boveda
