ブランド紹介

コンバースの歴史は、1908年、米国マサチューセッツ州モールデンに始まった。
マーキス·M·コンバースは、降雪量が多く、深い森や湿地帯の続くマサチューセッツ州の地域性に着目し、コンバース·ラバー·シュー·カンパニーを設立。
その翌年、雨や雪の中でも作業できるラバーシューズの製造を開始した。
彼の見込みは的中し、コンバースのラバーシューズはその品質の高さから圧倒的な支持を受け、1910年には、地元の有力企業へと成長していった。
