The Kyushu Contact Blue Train from Tokyo has been reproduced at the end of the period of the longest form (15 car passengers).

Presenting Sakura Hayabusa / Fuji, a blue train that combines 15 nostalgic Kyushu Katsu.

Sakura, and Hayabusa, which continued to run as a standalone train since the National Steel Age, was the first combined blue rain after the JR transition to 11 (1999), and became a topic of blue rain as a multi-layer construction consisting of 24 and 14 series.The single "Fuji" operated in the same form is the longest, and since 2002 has been shortened to its organization and since the 2005 Sakura has been discontinued in conjunction with Fuji" and Hayabusa, and completed its role in 2009.
