The mother of Gerard de Francony was a painter Anne de Francony, she worked with Picasso in his own gallery of Nice in the Court dAzur, and has relationships with Shagalls, opening exhibitions of masters such as Suzuji Fujida and Laurensin.
In 1965, Gerard founded "Edition Dahl de Francony" which is one of the worlds famous lithographs publishers with his brother Andree, creating and distributing the original lithographs of master Picasso, Miro, and Shagirl, and the original lithographs of Eizpili, Buffet, Catalan, Guyan, Jansen.
In 1965, lithographs were only sold in its own method in some special galleries, but Geraural and Andre decided to spread their lithographs directly to hobbyists and collectors across France and Europe, so as to spread their lithographs in communications sales and catalogs, this revolutionary way was successful.
