This pressure relief valve is a safety device to protect the compressor from back pressure.
Relief valve removes excess pressure or vacuum from the system.
The valve opening causes the gas to escape, reducing pressure, and closes when the valve reaches the limits of refitting pressure.
It also loosens excess vacuum by opening and releasing gas into the system and closing after the low pressure limit is reached.
