Hold the clamp knob with knurling by hand and align the male threaded stud with female thread. Turn the knob clockwise by hand to make sure it is secure. Be sure to use the correct size bolt knob.
If necessary, rotate the knob clockwise (increased clamping force) or counterclockwise (decreased clamping force) to adjust the clamping force to achieve the tightening or loosening required for specific application.
