This seashell is a representative illustration of Minamoshi Toukou. The story of Minamoto is familiar with the royal nobility and children since ancient times, and has also been incorporated into the patterns of the seashell which is said to be the original form of playing carta. Due to the nature of the clam, only the left and right shells will fit perfectly. For that reason, it was one of the most important shrint ritual tools for the Princess of the Daima who connected with the morality of "Chastity is not able to look like both husbands." Picture scrolls, colored paper fan drawings and historical Yamato painters have been meticulously depicted in life of the dynasty characters. Thank you for decorating the occasion.
