Black powder may appear to be sitten, but this is a polishing scum caused by polishing processes. Clean with a soft sponge and dry with a kitchen paper or soft cloth before using. It will disappear naturally with use. Even if you put it into your mouth, you will not be able to digestive and will naturally release your body.
Please do not use hard parts on the back of the sponge or metal scrubber. The stainless steel surface may be shaven and the black powder will come out.
