Note - Two common problems when buying DC power extension cables.
1 Wrong plug size - this is the most common problem. Please measure the barrel plug of the power adapter to confirm your device. This only accepts 1.35mm (inside diameter) x 3.5mm (outside diameter) plugs. 1.35mm x 3.5mm plugs are commonly used in small digital devices. However, not all wireless IP cameras use 1.35mm x 3.5mm plugs. Please check the plug size before purchasing.
2. Low Power - The longer the cable, the more resistance and power loss, the more power from the power supply. Most products on the market do not offer strong power adapters. At 20 feet long, power loss is noticeable. Make sure you have enough power to use the extension cable
Make sure the power adapter can supply enough power to the extension cable. From a height of over 20 feet, the resistance and depression may be noticed.
