Upcycle feather, a clean and eco-friendly recycled material that was reclaimed by the neighbors and public organizations and is washed with clean water from Yamanashi Prefecture.

Upcycling material beyond recycled
Upcycling is not just recycling ingredients but also creating products that are more value than the original one.
The reused feathers may cause you to worry about the smell and cleanliness, but this upcycle feather is thoroughly made with a high quality wash and regeneration process which is rather cleaner than ordinary feathers and has reduced the smell of feathers.
Recommended for those who want a feather cushion but worry about the smell and are looking for something that is as low as possible

A portion of the proceeds of the upcycled products are used to create forests through the Green Fundraising.

Until you can uphold
1. Recovery the duvet from municipals and public organizations. Classifies by mixing ratio.
2. Remove the feathers without wasting.
3. Remove broken or damaged items.
4. Natural water for cleaning and rinsing of Mt. Fuji Water is also an important factor.
5.High temperature kills dust mites and bacteria Furthermore, the feather is fluffed while removing dust.
6. Sort down and feather by wind force.
7. Test mixture rate, washing degree, etc.
8. From this selected material, an upcycle feather cushion is made with feathers that are suitable as a cushion material.

The fabric used is made in Japan, and the stitching is made in Japan, inspections and shipping, so you can use it with confidence knowing that it is made in Japan.

About feather smell
Feather (feather) has a thicker shaft and contains more oil than down (feather). This will definitely leave an animal smell. Moisture-wicking results in even more odors.
If you feel the unique smell of the feather, please dry it in the sun for 3-4 hours, and use your hand to push the air in the cushion for several times, replace it with a new air to reduce the odor.

Note:
Not washable at home. Wash with water will cause it to dry inadequately and the smell will increase.
Also, please be aware that spraying with a deodorizing spray on maintenance may cause the contents to get moisture and the contract smell tight.
