If the computer is not recognizable the drive, it may not be provided enough power to your laptop.After confirming there is no problem with the connection, we recommend using the power cable to connect to a power outlet at least 5V to provide more power to the DVD drive.If this external DVD player is for Mac OS, it will not appear on the desktop when connected to the Mac.Open the eject button on the DVD drive, insert the disc into the drive, and the disk icon will be displayed on the desktop.
