The actual output current of this product can reach up to 160A, and it can be compatible with φ4.0 welding rods, and can also be used with alkaline welding rods. It is also a large current, so the current will not be attenuated even when extended to a secondary side connection cable for welding. Note: 100V input power supply does not have 160A output current, so we recommend 200V power supply when connecting a secondary connection cable. When using a secondary connection cable, choose a thicker cable to reduce voltage drop

How to select a welding rod
Use approximately twice as thick as the diameter of the welding rod.
Example: When using a 0.08 inch (2.0 mm) diameter welding rod for iron, the welding plate thickness is 0.08 - 0.16 inch (2.0 - 4.0 mm).
