The SGT-DI pedal is the perfect pedal for modern basists, where you can complete the base rig with a single stomp box. Compact, lightweight and portable housing features the familiar simple 3-band EQ as well as the SGT (Super Grit Technology) overdrive circuit, ultra high/low switch, and on-board compressor. In addition to these features, Ampeg has also been equipped with the first IR (Impulse Response) loader/cabinet simulator that allows you to control the base tone from every aspect. Combining traditional analog technology with modern digital technology to provide bass players with unparalleled sound.
■ Tone control including traditional 3-band EQ
Ampeg has become a classic 3-band EQ with a knob that can be set to any intermediate range between 200Hz and 3kHz, allowing you to perform more equalization. Also features such as Ultra Low and Ultra High Switches and Onboard Compressors for positive tone control.
■ SGT overdrive circuit with selectable voicing of SVT and B15
The SGTSuper Grit Technology) Overdrive Circuit Kit reproduces the warm distortion of Ampeg vacuum tube amplifiers, now you can choose between the VT and B15 voicing. Two coaxial knobs to adjust distortion and volume levels for excellent maneuverability.
■ Onboard IR Loader/Cabinet Simulator
In addition to 3 factory installed Ampeg cabinet simulators, you can load your favorite IR in 3 IR slots. This allows you to recreate and control from the entrance of the base rig with a single unit. Please note that the mix level of IR/cabinet can be adjusted by the knob on the side of the body.
