The Hambucker Smooth Operator pickup features a milder treble and tacky midrange than the Lundgrens Vintage Bridge model. The midrange is thick and literally sucked into the pickup and jump into the amplifier.
The Smooth Operator uses Arnico 2 magnets and is made from the same size as the PAF used in 2.5mm length. Arnico 2 magnets have a weakened magnetic force compared to Alnico 5. Sustain is longer to allow for more freedom of string vibration, and natural attenuation.
