This paperweight of lacquer ware is made in Takaoka, a town of crafts and crafts.
We have designed flowers for the four seasons using the traditional technique of Takaoka lacquerware "Mother of Pearl" and "Soweding".
Mother of Pearl (Raden) is a method of cutting the pearl parts of various patterns into lacquer and painting on the inside of the shells such as blue oysters, luminous shells, white pearls, and white butterflies.
