Description

Originating from the Kamakura era about 800 years ago, this gawa lacquerware set from Yusawa City, Akita Prefecture, where the production of lacquerware has been professionally started in the early Edo. Round items such as bowls and bowls are made of wood and beech trees, and horns such as heavy boxes are made from bonoki, persimmon shiki and raw lacquer several times, then they are finished with an advanced technique called flower painting (hananoharvesting), which is characterized by sowing and sinking. Currently there are more than 20 lacquerware workshops in Kawawanani Town, the "Ombre Coki Husband and Waist High Soup Bowl" brought to you by the long-established Kenkichi Abe that has been continued from the Edo period. Using traditional methods of rivern lacquered lacquer, the torch wood is finished using a method of "blurring painting" that uses two colors of lacquer, vermilion and black lacquer. Comes in a luxurious wooden box, so it can be used as a gift for a wedding gift, a gold wedding gift, or a silver wedding ceremony.
