LaNA HF is an extremely high performance broadband and linear LNA module designed for HF and adjacent SDR applications. Power consumption is less than 30mA.
LaNA HF provides significant performance when used with the Ham It Up converter, direct sampling SDR, and most HF-enabled radios and rigs.
Each module can be used with three different power options, but always need to supply power with one option. Recommended power input via SMA output port (for biastea-compatible SDRs such as NESDR SMArTee) is 4.5V to 5VDC Or you can use the external power option (micro USB port or power input header) if you do not have a bias tea supported SDR. Recommended external power input is 4.0V to 5.5V DC.
LaNA HF has overvoltage protection circuit, even works with voltage up to 12V DC and does not damage the device, but it is not recommended for long-term use. Please note that damages caused by overvoltage conditions are not covered under the standard warranty.
Each LaNAHF module has EMI shielding to protect sensitive circuits from external interference and is fully ESD protected. LaNA HF also has RF limiters on the input port to protect the amplifier from extremely high output external signals.
