This model is a collaboration with G-SHOCK who celebrates 40th anniversary in 2023 and graffiti artist ERIC HAZE (Elic Haze). Based on the original G-SHOCK model DW-5000C, a full metalized GMW-B5000, Eric Hazes artwork is expressed with a special finish using IP coating and laser processing. The entire watch features a black IP and the watch body uses a hairline and mirror finish dividing and the band features a laser engraving of a dot pattern. The combination of large and medium and small dot sizes creates tonal shades and features a distinctive graphic design throughout the band. The screwback cover has a DLC coating and is engraved with the G-SHOCK 40th anniversary logo created by Eric Haze. This is a special design that will display Eric Hazes graffiti tag when the light is on. This special model celebrates the 40th anniversary of the G-SHOCK with special packaging designed by Eric Hayes.
Due to the construction of the screw back, the logo and text on the back case may not be directly matched to the direction of the dial.
