【ケブラーの特徴】
合成繊維の中では最も古くから、麻の代用品として使用されている繊維です。
ザイロンなどに比べると柔らかいのが特徴です。
【超高分子量ポリエチレンの特徴】
ザイロン繊維、アラミド繊維に比べ非常に軽い。
しなやかで弾性率に優れている。
軽いということは、復元の抵抗が小さいということで、矢の初速をあげることができます。
弾性率が優れているので、伸びることで衝撃を吸収できます。
その為、弓に優しい弦です。
