This DisplayPort to DVI active adapter is designed for both multimode (DisplayPort++) and single mode

Supports DisplayPort signals and supports all DisplayPort outputs, ensuring maximum compatibility. Unlike passive adapters, this product can be used with graphics cards such as ATI Eyefinity which do not support multi-mode DisplayPort+++ signal output. This conversion cable also supports video resolutions up to 1920x1200 and converts DisplayPort video source to DVI without reducing video quality.

1.This adapter is not compatible with App-le Cinema Display.
