This drum head has ASPRs DNA which uses a straight film, inherits the brightness, open sound, and touch feeling of the original plastic film.
Standard type drum head
Drum heads of plastic films (high crystalline films) are known for their original nature of the film material and stretch in the vertical and horizontal (MD, TD) directions.
The straight film (unprocessed) has a large degree of freedom of vibration, and is also rich in flexibility, so it is commonly said to be a bright open sound and a soft touch sensation. On the other hand, it is also a cause of inhibiting sound modules.
The ST head is made with a unique method of forming the head, improving hoop rigidity due to the material used, film molding conditions, and coating to suppress the occurrence of overlapping sound compared to other products. It is made with consideration of the balance between the sound and the sound sensation.
