DIATONE New Pride DS-G400

The DS-SA1000 combines all of the DIATONE acoustic technology.
The DS-G400 diaphragm "NCV-R" which was only used in the flagship speaker.
In addition to woofers, this product is also used for tweeters to achieve a full range of sound not only a sense of consistency but also a high-dimensional, high-speed sound.

NCV-R Diaphragm
NCV*1 is an innovative diaphragm material developed exclusively by DIATONE by combining carbon nanotues and several types of resins. Although it is a resin material, it has a high transfer rate that outperforms titanium which is a metal, and has an internal loss of identical to paper, and has been used in DS-G500. The NCV-R *2 was born to develop the flagship model "DS-SA1000" to further enhance the NCV. Its transportation speed achieves 6,300 m/s exceeding 5,600 m/s of the DS-G500 m/s and 5,900 m/s of the DS-G300 while maintaining moderate internal loss. Because of its characteristics, it is also used for woofers, and also for tweeters to achieve a unified feel from bass to treble, and a full-range sound with a sense of high-dimensional speed.

W Side, Solid Line Structure:

Y-Contact Construction (Dome & Cone Type) Diaphragm
The Y-contact structure (dome & cone type) diaphragm adopted by DIATONE top model is infused with the DS-G400. Uses a dome shape that allows linear treble playback and a "dome and cone shape" that combines the advantages of a cone shape that provides a wide range of playback. Combined with the characteristics of NCV diaphragm that has high transfer speed and does not have inherent sound like metal diaphragm, it is strong and stretchy, but there is no peeky parts, and it faithfully reproduces the atmosphere and air feeling of concert hall. The Y-Contact construction also optimizes domed and cone-shaped contact structures for increased rigidity to eliminate resonance within the audible range, and the voice coil drive is transmitted straight to the diaphragm to achieve comfortable treble characteristics. Because there is no unnatural hardness in the treble range and no sound that cling to your ears, it is possible to reproduce highly realistic instruments such as complex instruments and strings.

Advanced Assembly Accuracy:
The DS-G400 has been managed and positioned in increments of dozens of μm increments to ensure the center of the voice coil and the center of the magnetic circuit. By strictly positioning with special voice coil jigs that were not performed in the DS-G500 or DS-G300, the magnetic distortion can be minimized.
