The 10490 is a cutter with a metal handle finish for durability and strength. Slide the orange button in the center of the main unit to reveal the blade edge. The length and position of the blade can be adjusted to 3 levels. When not in use, the blade is always stored in the main unit. When shipped, a round type (10524) blade is built into the main unit. Double-ended blade construction allows you to use it 2 times even when it is time to change the edge. Replacement blades are easy and no tools required. The sharpness is very good, and it can be used for crisp work. Once you use it, you will see how good it is. Ambidextrous for left and right hand use.
