Put it on your cameras monitor to cut out the outside light. The hood can be attached to the camera monitor to cut out external light. The HC300 is equipped with an elastic band and the HV5 is attached with Velcro tape. The HV5 is also compatible with the external recorder "ATOMOS NINJA2".
