The conductors used in Obsidian cables are e☆Earphones Laboratories developed eLSAS conductors are based on pure domestic high purity copper.
Based on the latest wire with a silver compound and highly conductivity.
We use C-HU (Conc-Half Unilay) stranding method for high distortion performance and excellent frequency characteristics, and further maneuverability.
The eLSAS conductors used in Obsidian cables are originally braided for comfort with pitch control to provide flexibility and maneuverability and reduced touch noise and friction.
In addition, the headphone cable uses BWS*1 mechanism.
1 BWS = When using headphones in the abbreviation of Balance Weight Stabilizer (Balance, Weight, Stabilizer).
The mechanism aims to reduce annoying cable sway and provide comfortable usage, and the ability to consciously adapt to the optimum weight and length of various cables.

You can also use the locking mechanism. The MDR-Z1000 and 7520 headphones are not separated by GND, so it cannot be used with balanced cables. Please note:

If the plug assignment is compatible with other devices, it can be used if the headphone side jack is not flat or special shape. (Screw-in lock mechanism cannot be used. )
