Features of Aizu Lacquerware

Aizu lacquered ware is a traditional technique communicated to the Aizu region.
During the Aizu region period, we worked hard on technical innovation, and developed into a wonderful technique that can be exported to China and the Netherlands.
Nowadays, it is designated for traditional crafts in the country, and we produce lacquer vessels with a variety of techniques such as Mother of Pearl, Lacquer, Dried Lacquer, Sowing and Flower painting.
We are working on the development of lacquer ware that incorporates the functions required for modern life in the tradition of dishwasher safe vessels.

Sowing painting... A way to express the image by drawing flowers or patterns on the surface of the lacquer varner, and then sowing gold powder or colored powder onto it.
Goldworm Ghoust: Apply black lacquer and sow barley or rice husk all over before drying, and remove barley after drying. Then sow silver powder and polish it with charcoal after drying.
Flower painting: This technique is applied with oil and glazed lacquer, and is made with advanced technology that applies without leaving marks or uneven brushes.
