The 2P type disc has the same groove structure as the second layer (L1) layer 1 (L0), and the laser is irradiated into the groove groove.The same natural recording method as the first layer means less chance of errors.　On the other hand, the groove shape is symmetrical between the first layer (L0) and the groove orientation is opposite from the laser.Therefore, the laser will be exposed to the pigment applied over the second groove.While this method is easy to make, it reduces recording accuracy, and has tend to be more error than 2P methods.
