Plumma Block (Plumber Block) is a metal bearing box with self-aligning (rolling/ball) bearings inside.
It is standard cast iron (such as rats cast iron gray cast iron) and may be made from either a spherical black smoke cast iron (ductile cast iron) or cast steel depending on the application.
