The beginning and the end.

A great composer, producer and basist, Jon Stockman creates the most overwhelming basestones in the world. About a year and a half ago, Jon Stockman visited Darkgalss headquarters in Helsinki. After that, we have gone through endless adjustments and dozens of prototypes, finally released the ALPHA OMEGA - the first co-designed product for Darkglass.

This product is significantly different from the pre-amp or overdrive that Darkglass has already released and has the opp amp as a complete base and can be used to select or blend two completely different distortion circuits (ALPHA and OMEGA) with a MOD knob. Combining two toggle switches and three active EQs, this unusual control is the most flexible control configuration of Darkglass products.

Blend.
Control the mix balance of clean and effect signals Regardless of the configuration of the Level knob for controlling the volume of the overdrive signal, the Clean Signal is a Unity Gain and fine-tune the balance you mix with the Blend knob.

Level
Set the volume of the overdrive signal.

Drive
Set gain quantity for overdrive signal.

Bite
Boosts high mid (2.8 kHz) for added presence and clarity.

Growl
Shelving-type base boosts that create a fat, tone, and increase low-end saturation. Shelving-type base boosts that create a fat, tone, and increase low-end saturation.

Mod
Select or mix two completely different distortion circuits While ALPHA is a punchy, tight and highly clear sound while OMEGA is a rough and lively sound that is easy to understand.

Bass
Boost/cut bandwidth with 80Hz center frequency to ±12dB.

Mid
Boost/cut bandwidth of 500Hz at center frequency to ±12dB.

Treble
Boost/cut bandwidth with 5kHz center frequency to ±12dB.

Parallel Output.
Through the input signal It is effective in recording clean signals on different tracks or live situations.

Direct Output.
1/4" balanced outputs are useful for connecting PA or studio mixing console.

Warning.
ALPHA and OMEGA current consumption is 30mA. Use a regulation DC9V center negative polarity adapter. Not compatible with 9V battery (006P) for environmental protection. Please note that the use of non-regulation power supplies or voltage above 9VDC may cause noise or damage to the unit and is not covered under the warranty.
