■Product Overview| Digital high hat with advanced multi-sensor trigger
Rolands unique digital pad combines with the high speed processing of the V-Drums sound source module, bringing electronic drums to the next stage. It also reacts and expresses the players subtle nuances that have never been achieved with electronic drums.
The VH-14D has been dramatically improved in the performance and expression abilities that have never been achieved such as sensitivity, tonal changes, and resolution analysis. The two-piece, thinner 14" pad provides a more natural feel and a high-resolution sensor system provides precise reading of striking strength, striking stick position (*1) and pedal work. Of course, you can mute the touch of your hand like an acoustic drum with the natural expression of the foot splash.
The VH-14D can be used by updating the TD-50 and TD-27. In addition, the TD-50 is upgraded for a free charge to add new features such as a high hat tone that maximizes the appeal of the VH-14D (*2).

(*1) For TD-50 and TD-27, the information of the striking position of the MIDI will change according to the hitting point, but it does not change the tone of the tone.
(*2) The sound nuance changes due to multi-stage striking position detection are only supported when TD-50X connection.

1) VH-14D cannot be used with drum audio sources other than TD-50X (all versions), TD-50 (Ver.1.08 and above), and TD-27 (Ver.11 and above). Please note that the VH-14D is not compatible with drum audio sources (current in July 2021). We do not accept return requests for reasons such as not working properly with other sound sources, cant connect, or incompatible. Please check product specifications before purchasing.
