This adapter converts a mini D-sub (HD) 15 pin male connector to DVI 29 pin male. (1) Use to connect the analog display (models with a mini D-sub(HD) 15pin male connector to a DVI interface (DVI29pin female, DVI-I). (2) Convert one side of the display cable with a mini D-sub(HD) 15pin male connector to a DVI 29pin male (DVI-I) using this adapter to connect the DVI port on your PC or analog RGB display with the DVI port and analog RGB port.

The DVI29-pin female (DVI-I) port side of the computer or display must support DVI analog mode. (Some of the DVI 29pin female side devices do not support DVI analog mode, please check before purchasing. )

It cannot convert DVI-D to DVI-I or convert single link mode to dual link mode.
