Description

Introducing Walrus Audios first pedal dedicated to base "Badwater".
Badwater is an all-in-one bass preamp/D.I, which enhances the bass sound essential to your ensemble.
Equipped with an optical compressor, overdrive, and 4-band EQ section,
It allows you to create sound exactly as you want from warm clean, rough cords, powerful overdrives, and even bright slap tones.
Badwater will be a weapon that any style of basic can create powerful sound.

Sustain
Internal optical compressor is always ON at the first circuit level.
Squeeze the Sustains knob to minimize the compressor effect, the input signal will compress as you raise the knob, resulting in a rich sustain

Drive & voice
The drive section gives the sound a shine and edge by adding deep distortion from subtle distortion.
Voice switch allows you to choose between high end, mid-range and low end bandwidth to amplify your drive.

Level.
Drive controls are equipped with independent level knobs that boost or cut drive signals.

Blend.
Blending clean and drive signals using the blend knob.
Clean and drive signals work in parallel so you can blend clean and drive signals for enhanced clarity.

Shaping and EQ
The abundant EQ options allow you to adapt to any genre of music.
In addition to the 4-band EQ (low / low mid / high mid / high), the "LMF (Low Mid Frequency)" and "HMF (High Mid Frequency)" knobs allow you to adjust the low mid and high mid center frequencies.
LMF is adjustable from 500 Hz to 2.4 kHz, HMF is 3.5 kHz to 7.5 kHz
