This fiber optic is a double layer fiber made of acrylic resin with high refractive index and fluorine resin on the outer shell. The difference in the refractive index causes full reflection and light entering the fiber optic progress repeatedly between the core and the outer shell. Plastic fiber optic is less expensive than glass fiber optic and is easy to handle and process,so it can be used in a variety of occasions, such as light sensors, signal transmissions, toys, decorations.
Uses domestic fiber optic (Toray or Asahi Kasei).
This item will be stored straight up to the factory to avoid the winding as much as possible and rolled to fit approximately A4 size when shipped. Unpack your item immediately and keep it straight after you receive it. Please note that if stored for a long period of time without unpacking, it will come with a rolled up.
