Description

The Cokin NUANCES INFRARED 720 (New Infrared 720) is an infrared filter, designed for use with Cokin EVO filter holders sold separately. The infrared filter can be used with the camera shooting mode setting to monochrome mode. The blue sky is darker than normal black-and-white shooting, and the green with high infrared reflectivity is depicted in white, allowing you to create a bright and dark monochrome expression that is not real. 1-3

■ It cuts down specific wavelengths and depicts a unique world view.
NUANCES INFRARED 720 cuts out UV and visible light and transmits from deep red (50% at 720nm and about 98% transmission up to 950nm).

- Uses high-resolution glass
The material of the filter is phosphated glass that does not affect the optical performance of the lens.

- Coating with excellent protection against reflections and scratches, water repellency and oil repellency.
Multi-AR coating and AF coating on both sides of the filter The effect of AR coating prevents the filter from reflecting during shooting. In addition, the AF coating prevents water from splashing, oiling, and scratching. Even if the filter gets wet or dirty when shooting outdoors.

1 Infrared light is very low, so it requires a long exposure time. We recommend using a tripod as it will turn into a slow shutter for seconds to several decades even in sunny days.
2. Since the visible light and infrared range have different positions where the focus is connected, it is recommended that you tighten the aperture and take pictures.
3. The infrared light sensitive properties may vary depending on the manufacturer and model of the DSLR camera, so you need to grab the tricks while taking a shot, such as adjusting the exposure.

4. The included blackout mask is used when taking photos of Cokin Creative Filter Series resin holder (BZ100 is applicable for Z-PRO Series). Prevents light from entering through the gap between the filter and filter holder.
5 holder is recommended for use with Cokin EVO filter L size (JAN Code: 3611531200080) sold separately.
