3-way and 4-unit configuration for a full-scale theater sound.

A small bookshelf, this floor cabinet has a large capacity of 45.3 inches (1157 mm) x 8.7 inches (220 mm) x 13.4 inches (3 cm) tweeter, 5.1 inches (13 cm) midrange, and 2 6.3 inches (16 cm) woofers. The rich midtone that is unique to the authentic 3-way and the powerful bass of the double woofer and the stretch treble of the black anodised aluminum tweeter for a scale feel of theater.

Newly developed 1.2 inch (3 cm) black anodized aluminum tweeter for high resolution use.

In order to provide a natural and smooth listening experience, we have developed a new 3cm black anodised aluminum tweeter that uses unique black film coated aluminum diaphragm and CCAW (copper clad aluminum wire) voice coil that suppresses the inherent sound of the metal diaphragm.By thoroughly reducing the diaphragm and voice coil, it maintains sufficient strength while ensuring a regenerated frequency range of up to 45 kHz (-10 dB) required for high-resolution sound source playback, and realistic, thick treble playback.

The newly developed 5.1 inch (13 cm) PMD cone mid-range that inherits the tradition of Yamaha speakers.

For mid sounds, this newly developed 5.1 inch (13 cm) PMD cone mid-range is made of PMD (Polymer-injected Mica Diaphragm) diaphragm diaphragm made of the famous HiFi speaker "NS-1 classics".The realism and transparency of the midrange inheriting the tradition of Yamaha speakers, and the agile response that does not detract from the vibrancy of the sound even in low volume, faithfully reproduces the high-resolution sound source.

*The name of the "PMD" was adopted after the former NS-300 series released in 1999.The mid range and woofer for the "NS-1 classics" will vary in the molding method.

Newly developed 6.3 inch (16 cm) PMD cone woofer with increased S/N and improved bass resolution

For bass, a newly developed 6.3-inch (16 cm) PMD cone woofer with a mid-range (Polymer-injected Mica Diaphragm) diaphragm) diaphragm, pursuing bass resolution. The supple, clear medium bass further enhance the realism of the vocal band and reproduce the immersive feel of theater sound.

Wave guide horn controls direct and indirect sound ratio and reduces adverse effects caused by wall reflection in treble range.

It regulates the directional properties of the tweeter at 135 degrees horizontal/120 degrees vertically, which is perfect for general household theater rooms, and uses a wave guide horn to reduce the negative effects of wall reflections caused by high sound ranges. It protects the sound position and frequency characteristics from disturbing and improving the low range characteristics of tweeter and mid-range and smooth sound connection between 4 speaker units for realistic, crisp, mid and treble.

W baffle construction & tumbled foam design for high rigidity and low resonance enclosure

The W baffle construction allows the outer baffle to be attached to the main body side baffle (sub-baffles) to achieve high rigidity of the baffle surface, and a high rigidity and low resonance enclosure with a tumbled foam design that is designed to bend the sides to ensure greater rigidity and reduce constant waves. We aimed to deliver high purity sound quality that can be enjoyed in a wide range of situations from theater to pure audio, with minimal influence of unnecessary resonance and standing waves. The outer baffle is finished with a black mirrored piano finish and contrasts beautifully with black wood grain or walnut wood tone cabinets. In addition, it is equipped with gold-plated speaker terminals that support bi-wiring compatibility with the front bi-amplifier function of the AV receiver.
