Description

Bass Butler is a base preamp pedal that reproduces bass amplifiers, treble sounds from the "biamp" system with a guitar amplifier. The base channel is equipped with an optical compressor that is always on The guitar channel is equipped with 3-band EQ and gain control, allowing you to get high gain distortion sound. The two channels can be sent directly to the mixer or recording by independent XLR output with a cabinet simulator that is ideal for each bas/guitar. It also has a 1/4" jack output that blends and outputs both channels. In the good days it was known as "biamping" to send bass signals to bass amplifiers and guitar amplifiers simultaneously. This allows players to amplify the middle to top end separately from the lower end while keeping the low end deep, clean and clear high in total control. This type of setup could produce giant tones, but normally needed a giant and complex equipment rig. Bass Butler splits the signal at the input end and features two fully independent analog signal chains. The realistic "biamp" equipment settings can be recreated with a pedal without having to use a huge complex equipment. Base Channels: The base-channel always on has a simple and effective control layout: compressor, base, treble, and volume. Optical compressor circuitry, cut/boost tone control, and balanced D.I. output with a dedicated base cabinet simulates the base cabinet for all classic clean tones. From the depth of the dove to the high fidelity, Bass Butler is sure to be polished like your best shoes. Guitar Channel: This classic high gain guitar channel will not let you down, whether you are giggling like a rattle, just musical or just a little prank. With just one step of the foot switch, the familiar 5 controls and 4 gain stages are called to provide everything from vibrant vintage tones to modern destructive distortion sound like cracking floors and breaking walls. Combining the balanced D.I. output simulating a guitar cabinet and expression pedal input, you can even control the input gain. Two channels of Bass Butlers independent XLR output allows you to deliver the finished bi-amp base tone to your mixer table without losing anything. It is also equipped with an amplifier output, allowing you to blend two channels in front of a cabinet simulation circuit and output from a 1/4" jack. The blending intensity can be adjusted by the volume control of the channel. In other words, sound on the stage can be controlled completely independently from what your audio is heard (*sound sent from XLR out to the mixer). This output can also be used alone just like a regular preamp pedal. With its sturdy steel housing, 18V power supply for high headroom, and all-around durability, the butler who takes the basics to be close to you, Bass Butler is pleased to live your life for a lifetime.
