What is GORE-TEX?

GORE-TEX is a "moisture permeable and waterproof material" that was developed first in the world.

Thin film material with over 1.4 billion micro pores per square centimeter.One hole is about 700 times the size of water vapor molecules in 1/20,000 times the size of water droplets.Even though it does not let water through, it releases moisture vapor from perspiration, so you can use it comfortably without getting stuffy.It also has excellent durability and maintains its high functionality for a long time, even after repeated washing and bending.

Seam tape prevents peeling and ensures product longevity

It is always sweaty from your body.In addition, stains may get on the inside of the garment even with sunscreen or moisturizing cream.Leaving these stains will easily peel off the adhesive such as seam tape or reduce the function of the GORE-TEX membrane, a waterproof breathable membrane.Washing and keeping your clothes clean will prevent these and keep your clothes comfortable for a long time.

Restores water repellency

Most of the causes of water repellency to decrease is "stains" on the surface.This dirt disrupts water repellent base that supports water repellingIn addition to being visible, the "dirt" can also be used in sweat, grease, smoke, dust and dust contained in the rain.If you think the water repellent function will fall, wash it first and remove the dirt.The water repellent base is characterized by being heated to allow it to be aligned.After washing, water repellent recovery will be restored even after washing. All GORE-TEX garments are treated with a durable water repellent finish (DWR).The durable water repellent treatment will not decrease in washing, so it can maintain water repellency if you wash frequently.

2. Washing

All zippers are closed.Fasten the Velcro lightly when the cuff is fully extended.The drawcord is loose.Machine wash in a laundry net to prevent tangling. Detergent is slightly less than the prescribed amount of household liquid synthetic detergent.(Do not use softeners, air fresheners, or bleach).Rinsing is a major point.Detergent residue can cause water repellency.

3. Dry.

Once you finish rinsing with water, then dry in the shade.Dry thoroughly.

4. Water repellent recovery

After the garment is dry, please put it in a hot air dryer for about 20 minutes to recover the water repellency.If you want to iron, please iron it on low setting, no steam, use a cloth to gently iron it.In such cases, avoid the zipper part, etc. and iron only the fabric.
